Default Needs some help...

I currently have a 1997 Honda Accord with the F22 vtec. Im looking at options here i want to be faster. My engine now has about 215k so im kinda worried to go boosted. it dosent burn oil but does have a very light head noise.

options:
H23A1
or
H22A1

Which one to go with?
Anyone have one for sale or know of someone with one?
What would be needed?

Most of everyone go with H22 but ofcouse H23 is not all that bad if you go boost.
Or you can rebuild your engine so that way you wont' worry about it but again those f22b1 vtec engine ain't the best for boost. Well depending on what you really want to do though.

I would rebuild the engine, sleeve it, and boost it. Im naturally an N/A guy, but accords are heavy and need brute power to be fast.

OR,

I would go with the h22A, and put a good turbo kit on it.

H22 if you wanted to be NA with a short gearing trans. H23A1 if you wanted to go boost. You can go H22 turbo but that'll make your wallet lighter since the ringland on the H22s are weak against boost and not a good idea to run a high comp motor with boost.

Going fast on a budget, I'd adjust the valves first. Then rebuild that beast of an F22, swap in some 4G63 pistons and slowly boost her til it maxes out your fuel system.

I say H22 if you want N/A jux like da guys said, but again it how you want your car to be like! F22 turbo is pretty sick if you do a rebuilt cause it can cost as much as buying an stock H22! H23 is a good choice but if u luv dat Vtec feeling then F boosted or H! Ur choice and It really depends on how much u are willing to spend too cause im doing an H swap into My 94 Accord and man it gets pretty spendy i tell u dat right now!!! I say if u don't want to spend alot and jux want alittle more power den rebuilt ur F n boost her or go for an jdm or usdm H23!
