What a blast, just got back from doing the dual 7 hour enduros at BIR. Finished middle of the pack both days. For a bunch of completely green drivers, we did really well.

The car: Handled phenomenally. The suspension was bone stock other than some ebay coilovers. There wasn't a car on the track we couldn't keep up with around the tight twisties on the short course at BIR. I thought we represented the handling prowess of a small light honda well.

HOWEVER... the car got out-pulled by everyone. I'm convinced we would have done a lot better with more power.

This is why i'm posting in this forum: I'd like discussions/hookups/donations/suggestions on doing an extremely reliable simple turbo setup. Has to be super cheap, as only 1 person on the team has steady work. I'm convinced with a 4-5 psi turbo setup, we could get 20-30 ponies and keep up/pull on other cars on the straights. Next race is iowa, a high speed roval where we are going to absolutely NEED power.

If you can help with this, please shoot me a PM. I have 2 weeks, and 1 weekend to make this happen. HELP US OUT!

I got a small Turbo off an old mustang, probably a good 5-6psi. Could Fab that thing up for the car.

No turbo is worth 5-6psi, cause 5-6psi sucks balls. However, that small turbo off the svo mustang is one of the larger factory turbos found at junkyards, and absolutely kicks ass on D series 12psi cheap setups.

not gonna risk more than 5-6 psi. That tired little motor won't handle much more, and its enough to be a nice boost, which is all we really need.

Stealthmode... we have one of your decals on the car, I think that means you should hook me up on some oil lines :)

Just manifold, i got it about 6 yrs ago or more and it has just been sitting. Grab a 1/2" steel plate and drill holes and install studs, cheap/dirty adaptor plate. Spend 10 min with a die grinder and it's perfect.
