Twin Turbo Sequential setup

Well i did it and it works awesome. Its not going to make a lot of power which is not my goal here. But more so just to do something fun. so I did a wrx tdo4l turbo and a t3/t4 turbos with a drag cast mani and tial 38 mm wgs

Hell yeah Janky!!! yeah the lower turbo gets oil back to the pan. Trust me i know what i am doing. I did this in about two days. and i drove it around you go do something like this in two days. Honestly Please do.

Okay well for everyone who thought that this was janky, whats the point here is what it is.

Remember this was my $75 i bought and its now has a b18b swap and twin sequential turbos i got rid of the 0 offset wheels and got some SI wheel from David. Thanks man. The car pulls like a diesel pickup. Super tq'y down low, and has good up top. The down side is that my clutch is slipping because it is a stock clutch.

When i first had everything running i didn't have the second bov between the two turbos and just had the one after both turbos. When it would get into boost and let off the throttle it would get a lot of compressor shutter. So then i added a second bov between each turbo , but i used the vac source from the first wrx turbo. which didnt change anything. SO then i took off the second bov and let the first turbo vent out. It ran alright but didnt have the feeling like it did before. Then i put the vac source for the second turbo to the intake manifold instead and it made a hell of a difference. It holds 10 psi very nicely up until the clutch starts slipping then i let off so i can at least drive it. Every gear i can create boost and the car starts accelerating. I know i know its not the prettiest thing in the world, but remember this car came out of a field with vines and mice running through it and this is what its come too.

This was done on HomeMadeturbo.com by Jeff years ago. If I remember It was done just to show it would work. It made less power than a single turbo set up.

No im gunna add some green and pink wire loom to it and then put ricer flames on the outside along with some more sikk parts.

Dude i just got this fucking running properly and yes ill be cleaning it up. ive been also doing side work, Working at sweet sounds and working on an 89 civic EF hatch with a build ls/vtec setup. Im a busy guy and i dont have a ton of time to work on my cars. All in time my friend ill have this 75$ car looking a lot better.

I got them from my hatch which i replaced them with denjis and then i cant remember where i got the second pair but if ur looking for some i believe i have an extra set.

THE INTENT OF THIS IS TO NOT MAKE A TON OF POWER!!! its to be different and be fun. One turbo will always make more power than two ur correct on that. Its just cool to be able to make something. I get these crazy ideas and ill just run with it. Fuck ive been talking about doing triple turbos. lol But not enough room to go down. Time to go up. Top mount then stacking the turbos. Ill need another test car for that. wrx50 trim t3/t4 57 trim then to a t04s lol be a lot of work two was plenty of work but only time will tell.

Okay with some searching i found them but remembered that one has a tab broken off where the Clear corner is and that one of the lenses is a tad bit loose so when ur going down the road the light looks like it flickers. $50 and there urs

good job john. you will learn way more by doing things like this than you will by hanging out on the internet. packaging all that stuff was a challenge im sure. and everyones fabrication skills start out poor and get better. just keep at it! i'd rather read posts like this where people are actually trying different things and doing things on their own, than a thread about all the parts somebody bought and bolted on.

he probably didnt have much choice trying to fit all that stuff in there. one of the compromises he had to make. how long will it last? he will find out

no the turbo is not horizontal it is actually angled. and yes i do know that its gravity that pulls the oil from the center section. and yes the oil does flow back into the pan.
