Hey guys I'm a first time Integra owner. Picked up an 01 LS with 158k on it. The body looks in great shape. No rust, yet. Just wondering if there was anything that would be good to do to prevent some of these typical honda problems from happening. Any advice would be a great help.

Zap you noob! You have a lot to learn young 1st time Honda owner.
You will be driving it all winter, so PLEASE wash it at a Whale of a Wash once a week. Spray those wheel wells out very very well. That will help a ton.
You have a super clean Integra so keep it that way :couch:

Yeah, #1, wash it regularly (once a week for sure in the winter), and well, by hand if possible.
Clean the shit out of the wheel wells, and the seams of the bumpers/fenders/quarters/etc, and use a decent wax.
Good luck :D

do they really make the wheel wells rust more? the prelude has them. Im guessing they hold in water and dirt and stuff probably.

Don't diss on the guy because he asked an honest question.. It doesn't really make you look that cool.
Getting your hood latch cable re-located prevents would-be thieves from slashing into the plastic cladding in the fender well, popping the hood and jacking parts. Any good thief knows that this is an easy way to get some free shit.

I am a beginner to all things mechanical. I have decided to try to change my cars fluids tomorrow (except the turn signal fluid, obviously) and need some info. I want to use a 2 ton hydraulic jack to lift up the front end and slide some jack stands under the points behind the front wheels. However, I do not know where to place the hydraulic jack to do so. I searched the forums and found a diagram for a speed6 that show a spot on the first frame directly after the bumper in the center. When I looked under my car there seemed to be nothing but the black plastic undercover and what I think is the first frame but it is the one directly under the radiator. I had heard that you should not use that one, but I do not see any other point to use. Should I use that point?

I try not to bring my teg to the metro area and even if I do I am always paranoid. I don't know if its just me or is it really that bad. Have owned a teg for 5 months now and every time I go downtown I make sure I don't bring my car haha.
