There is a panel. I had a 95 and if I can remember right... it was under the bottom of the rear seat. I don't think there are any hondas, as far as cars go that I know you will need to drop the tank

okay i know there is a panel behind the rear seat i opened that. All that is under there is the float for the fuel tank level.

that check engine light is cause of lean condition and pre cat o2 sensor short circuit Jon u said those were new right where did you purchase them. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator and that thing was messed up. it runs a lot better pulls a lot harder now. Im just worried that the pump got messed up. maybe just curious so when i need to find the pump i know where it is. and now the tranny shifts like butter.

Well, if I can remember right the whole floatie thingy is connected to the pump.

here is a pick of a pump with the float. The pump is the silver cylinder looking thing.

I heard you'll have to drop the gas tank and some say you don't have to. There's a guy from Honda Society who did a K24 swapped and he had to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump but like it was said, not neccesary.

its all the same from 90-97 accord, you can change the fuel pump without dropping it but most people just do so that they have more room to work with.
