Alright guys, i figured i should get on this before i ship down to basic this summer so i have something fun to drive before and after i come back ;)
Just curious, what is a recommended setup for a b18 non-vtec? How much am i looking at spending? Would i need a different ECU to prevent any cels?
Thanks for looking, and i appreciate any positive feedback.

5spd ECU is definitely needed; though, you can run the Auto ECU, but it'll throw a CEL due to no shift solenoids being detected IMO.

when i did mine. i use my stock auto ecu. i just had my ecu chip(Crome) and shut off the cel..and went turbo.
dunno about you but i saved alot of money because i found the main parts for cheap and also traded stuff for parts.
so i'll give you a rough estimate
-300-350 on a ls tranny. depends if your going that route
-200-400 on the clutch kit
-200-300 on tranny mount price maybe less if you just buy the tranny mount but you can also buy all the mounts
50-100 on manual pedals used
misc bolts and stuff..
i think im missing more but you get an idea
