so for about the last hour or so ive been doing some research on my overheating problem.
ive replaced the thermostat and after the engine heats up and idles for a little while the cooling
fan doesnt pop on. i jumped my fan from the battery and it runs like a champ.
so my questions are....
1.) how can i test the engine temp senor,coolant temp sensor, rad fan relay and fan switch?
2.) are these the only things keeping my fans from coming on?
im just wondering if theres a way i can find out without having to replace everything.
its kind of annoying sitting going through a drive threw and having my car start to smell like coolant.
also when it overheats the temp gauge doesnt move above half hottness doesnt go to hot.
could this be the signs of the coolant temp sensor or engine temp sensor?
