Here it is dialed in y axis, a axis,x axis, and z axis. It was pain pain in the butt with a axis bc it's not like a v8 were you use the cam tunnel.

This was the only reason why I bought this b18c5 for. Really wish it came

Here is what it looks like when the steel sleeve is starting to break off.

When it's all said and done with 6 hours into this block. Here's it is!

Tomorrow I'll mock up the sleeves after I clean the sharp edges off the inside of the block.

im not going to have any pictures for awhile. the RMC through a fit when i was decking the surface. this is the 2nd time this happen this semester. the first time it happen it took .060" off the deck of my a classmate ls1. but thank goodness i hit the stop as soon as i heard it taking a big cut. so im going to have to weld up the block and deck it, then i'll be able to install the sleeves.

overall i really don't trust a lot of machines these day, unless i use it everyday.

sorry for the disappointment bc i know you guys wanna see the outcome.

I heard Doug at DG is a one man show now. Maybe give him a call to see if he needs any help

He sure is. I was just in there tonight picking up my Darton block after having him do some testing on it and checking stuff over.

It's called Hendrick's now.

Have you ever done this before?? I'm hoping your teacher or someone has at least, cuz I know its not easy to get perfect. Good luck though, looking good so far. Whats the plan for the rest of the setup??

It's Hendrick's Engineering now. I was just there last week to pick up a head from Doug. Guy was awesome to work with as well.

He still uses the same number : 952 746 0174. The old D&G sign is still up front.

And back to your block, that's some pretty cool stuff. Kinda wish I went to machine shop class. Post up some more pictures as you progress on your project.
