I know i should trade in for an Si but financially i don't think i can and banks don't like 18 yr old's borrowing money (i know shocker right) I want to know what kind of engine i should look at and not really knowledgeable at honda engines. All i know is vtec haha. take me to school

5 speed or auto? The R18 motor is a good motor, I would not even consider a upgrade to a K. Look into turbo kits for the stock motor, people have made good power on the R18.

Auto and i hate it but it was bought for me but i took over the payments so i could do this sort of stuff. Suggestions as to where i should look for a turbo kit. But with that i assume i need header, exhaust, tuning etc.

there are many aspects to consider when deciding how to modify an engine. the most important one being money.

What is your budget for your car? and I hate to tell you this but your transmission might be more of a hindrance to you, if its like any other honda auto transmission.

I would just go with some bolt ons and have fun, such as intake/header/high flow cat/ exhaust
