bought an h22a4 for dirt cheap and timmypone convinced me to do an h2b build so thats what im going for right now.
so far i have deleted the balance shafts, port an polished intake manifold done by timmypone and i, and put a thermal intake mani gasket on.
i picked up a 7lbs toda flywheel, clutch masters stage 2 6 puck clutch, and a qsd h2b kit. just gonna run the cable ls tranny for now till i uprade. plug and play harness done by renown! derek hooked me up with all my h2b stuff.
other than that the bottom is still the stock closed deck block. wanna sleeve it but thats gonna have to wait.
the shell is pretty clean. its red with a couple spots of rust. it was an auto but is now converted. i want to slam it but im gonna wait till after winter. maybe megan racing or skunk2
im gonna post pics up real soon just gotta take some and figure out how to upload them lol

Nice to see more h2b's popping up. Are you sure that block is a closed deck block? a4's are from the newer preludes which all were open deck blocks.

i recently bought hasport mounts, chipped p13 but im gonna run stock for now. i didnt even know you could chip a p13? and i bought an apexi vtec controller. other than that im hoping i can get the motor in this weekend! still have to cut and weld engine bay so pulley clears.
i hope this project rips cause these parts are not cheap and its alotta work haha. im addicted to hondas so i cant help it lol

It's not that hard to do the swap. Just drop it at an angle lower than the framerails, then level out, then raise it back up. Or put it in from the bottom.

with a b16 trans and the right slicks you should be able to hit 12s....how much do 4 door EFs weigh?

any where from 2140 to 2160 i believe. im runnin an ls tranny right now and not a ys1. i wish i would have just saved and bought one

Just get 22" slicks. Youll be good for a 12 sec pass, granted everything is running as it should

Nah that was the test drop we were seeing what all we still needed to cut or grind to get it in. and the first time we tryed we almost had perfect pulley clearance and the mouts lined up well idk why but to drop it in it really seemed easier then my ZC

spent about an hour on the subframe before we tried to get it in. now im gonna sand down the markings that the hammer made, do a quick engine bay paint job and drop it in again. i will keep giving updates as i go!!

Make sure you grind the back of the block/mount the half shaft before dropping it in the final time, not something you want to be doing on your back with no room to work

ya renown did that when they made my wiring harness. that would suck doin it with the motor in haha. gonna try to get some work done today. got pretty fucked up with the girlfriends family last night and im laggin a little today.

got the motor hung today again. havent got to start it yet. i need a starter shift linkage and an oil sandwich i thinks its called lol. pics coming sooooon just gotta go take some.

got that bitch started last night. i wasnt gettin any spark since i put the motor in but last night i got the scamatics for the dizzy and coil and found out that i was hooking it up wrong. damn external coils lol. well im throwing o2 sensor and iacv gonna take care of those today. hopefully get all my coolant lines hooked up and exhaust on. i have an eg radiator and i cant get it to fit at all, has anyone else tried doing this? i know i should prolly just go get an ef radiator but i have an eg dual core thats brand new.

To use that rad you'll have to either get ghetto and lean it, or cut out a section of the rad support so it will sit lower.
