Sick are you running a seperare fuel on demand, is that the reason for the senond set of injectors?

making 800+whp on E85 requires a lot of fuel :D

Looks good. I have something else in mind though. I'll stop in one of these days.

back when LJ was building the car he ran out of injector and he decided to add a second set of injectors. And back when he was building it they didn't offer the 2150's they do now so that is why he has the second set.

what are those 2 metal square tube bars running the charge pipe?
brace bars?

WIth LJ's normal manifold and turbo setup the turbo needed to sit where the stock cross member on the s2k was. he ended up cutting that out to make room.

I believe that is the new stuff they put in that is smaller in place of the oem piece.

so if the turbo "sit" on those bars... i'm assuming LJ made an actual mount for the turbo to rest on or something right?

The thought is simple, have the turbo rest on that bar securely to remove excessive stress off the manifold... right?

That I don't know. Haven't even seen those custom bars in the pics in person yet. Been awhile since I've gotten to stop at fb.

In for differences in spool and power vs the old mani.

LJ's just using his car to mock up new mani's. lol.

oh damn, forgot about that, so hes actually going to go back to the other one?

I believe he is making a new one for himself this winter. Not 100% sure yet. He really just wants to dial everything else in to hit the track up. He's got more than enough power and supporting mods to go fast. Time to just lay that power onto the ground.

so is that a twin scroll turbo?

AlexD

do the precision billets come twin scroll?

Actually no. The motor movement would rip something right off if you mount something to the motor and then to the body at the same time.the braces are just temp.

I see, thanks for clearing that up chuck.

Thats far from clear :o I think you got it though :p. Basically if you har mount the turbo to the body then the manifold becomes a solid motor mount.

NO! This is not twin scroll. I went briefly into detail about what twin scroll means in the other thread on turbo's. You need two volutes of different sizes to have "twin scroll". anything out there on the market that isn't a odd diesel take off or other oem app. turbo it is just a divided housing.

Manifold looks good, although I'm not a fan of having to move all that stuff on the pass side of the engine bay, sometimes you are forced into doing it.

matt i know it was i was making that comment due to them using a divided housinga the was wondering the reason behind it

PTE makes a divided T4 housing for the 65mm and 68mm exhaust wheel. Meaning billet 6265,6765,6768.
